SAI Litigation Trust
As Chapter 7 Trustee of a creditor for the major cargo carrier Southern Air while in bankruptcy, Barry E. Mukamal was appointed to the Creditors Committee of Southern Air while serving on the Committee, evaluated the proposed Chapter 11 reorganization plan proposed by the debtor and negotiated the terms for a liquidating trust formation for the benefit of the debtors creditors. Mr. Mukamal was subsequently appointed by the Court as Liquidating Trustee for the creditor trust to pursue permitted litigation and make distribution to creditors in accordance with the terms of the trust.
