As Liquidating Trustee of a 50-room time-share resort in St. Croix, Barry E. Mukamal’s asset management strategy was to stabilize and continue ongoing operations uninterrupted, while inserting proper management controls, instituting strict cash management procedures and preserving governmental and tax benefits. This program has successfully protected the resort from deterioration while the trust deploys an aggressive marketing program. The marketing program to date has successfully resulted in priming interest in the resort to facilitate a sale at a price meeting or exceeding expectations.
