Vision Airlines
Barry E. Mukamal was retained as a forensic expert by plaintiffs in a class action suit filed against Vision Airlines, Inc in Nevada. The plaintiff class alleged that Vision Airlines had billed the US Government for hazard pay and pocketed such payments without passing on such payments to pilots and flight attendants as mandated. Following a jury trial, the plaintiffs were awarded the full amount of damages claimed. The case is ongoing and now involves a punitive damages phase for which Vision may be liable.
