Soneet R. Kapila was the Court-appointed Examiner to investigate the viability of this 146 bed acute care community hospital, as well as corporate governance and the ability of management to operate this hospital as a Debtor-in-Possession. The scope of his duties included overseeing the sale of the Hospital as a Transaction Examiner. His recommendations resulted in a reconstitution of the Board of Directors, the appointment of an Interim Chief Operating Officer and a close monitoring of cash flow budgets and operations. His efforts resulted in the sale of the Hospital for $40 million and he was appointed a post-confirmation Plan Administrator.
