Barry E. Mukamal was retained to assist with the negotiation of JV agreements globally and negotiating procurement contracts for an international importer and distributer of seafood products. He further assisted in the tax efficient acquisition of crabbing vessels on behalf of principals of the company. Recognizing industry vulnerability post 9/11, he orchestrated the orderly liquidation of the company and enterprise thereby maximizing return to lenders and creditors with minimal economic consequences to both creditors and principals.
